textiles in mexico

July 9, 2008

I fell in love with the pillows that decorated our villa in Mexico. I went out searching for them and found a great shop with hand-made pillows in beautiful colors. I bought several styled like the image above. The site describes that they're "are all made from fabrics hand-embroidered in the mexican "PUEBLA" region, the animals represent the dream animals of the local indigenous people." They're Alexander Girard-esque and will look great in our apartment.
