I met Dow O'Neal at the Maritime, after running 6 miles, and we went to ICFF. Worked with Dow and Jon Gasca. Laughed all day and I love the new Stua Nube chair. Also hung out all day with my lady friends at Nani Marquina. Judit, their head of sales, is just adorable. Like cheek-pinching adorable. And Jon, so warm, generous, playful.

And OMG! I walked smack dab into Brittney Hart, my best friend from Freshman year at Goucher. Last time I saw her was at her Apt in the Hollywood Hills 5 years ago when she was at UCLA. She is an architect now and her ex-bf, who I met in LA then, was working the show and I saw his prototypes. Brittney and I are going out for margaritas. I love it when fate gives a good hand.

I went to the showroom after, in horrific rain, and placed some orders. Then the rain cleared and walked to the home of Joey Desiderio and Giulio Mazzarelli (The Mazzarellis). Ben arrived when I did. They were making me dinner as I hooked them up with a client selling her Charles sofa. It was my commission. Their friends, two of which I knew (Kevin Beisler and Shawn Chavez), and their respective bfs are funny, good-natured guys. It was interesting being at a table of eight and being the outsider, as I am usually the ringleader in large groups. I enjoyed watching. And they had crème brulees and Kevin had cookies delivered and they even got me into American Idol.
