My name is Bradford Shane Shellhammer. Thank you for visiting my site. If you'd like to know more about me just keep reading.

I started blogging in 2000. In 2006 my blog transitioned into a daily journal. This decision was inspired by Andy Warhol's diaries. It documents my days. Some people enjoy reading it. I think that's a bit weird, but I like that they read it.

This site also houses the many interviews I’ve conducted with people who fascinate me. They can be found in the Interview section of the site. I love asking people questions and I figured these Q&As should have their own space free from my blog.

In the Work section of this site you’ll find things I’ve written (published articles and poetry) and things I’ve created (art, illustrations, collage, interior spaces, and clothing). It will also house things that have been written about me.

I was born and raised in Baltimore. I called San Francisco my home for five years. I now live in New York with my boyfriend Ben in a loft near Stuyvesant Square Park. I am a graduate of Goucher College in Baltimore and I have my 2nd degree from Parsons in Fashion Design, though I have no interest in designing clothing. I manage a showroom for Design Within Reach in Manhattan. I am also a decorator, illustrator, painter, publicist, and writer.

I was the Bloggie winning, founding editor of Queerty. I have been published in numerous magazines and websites. I am a contributor to Design Within Reach's blog Design Notes.

I love red wine, drag queens and trannies, fashion, my mom, mid-century modern furniture, Moss, Paris, cheese, Etro, electro-pop, books, Kid Robot, Camper Shoes, and shopping. I collect miniature furniture, toys, books, and people.

If you want to hire me, ask me a question, or tell me you love me simply send me an email with "yo, bradford" in the title. I promise to get right back to you.

My life is a love song. You can hear it on the internet.
